Army Veteran and Inventor of The Barrett Ball
U.S. War Veteran, James Hayes, created and developed The Barrett Ball for his German Shepherd service dog, Barrett. James was wounded in action and discharged after honorably serving three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was diagnosed with both Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). After a long wait, Barrett was assigned to James to help cope with his injuries. James was inspired to reward Barretts loyalty and hard work by developing a toy he could finally enjoy without destroying it after a short time. This is how The Barrett Ball was invented. A solid rubber ball that stood the test against the aggressive chewers tough jaws and teeth.
